Principal's Message

Hello and welcome to Nevitt Elementary School, the Home of the Nevitt Knights!

In researching the symbolism of knights, I found that these noble figures represent loyalty, leadership, kindness, humility, purity, honesty, self-discipline, and excellence. These characteristics truly describe what the Nevitt Elementary School Family values. This year our focus will continue to be Learning For All – Whatever It Takes. As our students strive for excellence in academics, the Nevitt Staff will provide rigorous instruction through reading, writing, math, science, and social studies Arizona College and Career Ready Standards.

Nevitt students will participate in PE, music, computer and library classes. Opportunities will be offered for students to be involved in a variety of after school clubs. Parent-learning opportunities will continue to be offered. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded, successful students who are prepared for the next grade and ultimately to become productive members of society.

We are honored to work with Nevitt parents and children to create a community where striving for excellence is what we do each day. We do not take lightly our responsibility in ensuring your children experience a highly-engaging educational experience in a safe and nurturing environment, and we are thrilled to partner with our families as they embark upon this leg of their children’s academic journey.
